Evoca Group relaunches Gaggia Milano

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the iconic Gaggia brand, Evoca presents a stunning new collection of machines created by the Bonetto Design Center.

80 candles for Gaggia Milano. It was back in 1938 when Achille Gaggia invented the coffee ‘crema’, and in so doing he revolutionized the world of espresso and set a course for the future of Italy’s beloved beverage.

To mark the occasion, Evoca Group, which has owned the license for professional use of the brand since 2017, has relaunched the iconic brand by presenting a new range of machines, which combines the tradition of Gaggia Milano with the technological innovation that is the hallmark of the Evoca Group.
Consequently, in 2019, Gaggia Milano is expected to reclaim, in some style, its historical leadership in the professional coffee machine market. The top of the range machine, “la Reale”, will be available in January while the super automatic “la Radiosa” and the traditional machine “la Giusta” will follow in the second half of the year.

Evoca Group has been working on the collection for two years. That’s why the range embodies perfectly the strengths that distinguish the brand from its competitors. The appearance of the new machines gives a modern reinterpretation of legendary 50s élan, reflecting the decade in which Gaggia reached the height of its success. Add to ‘style’ the technological innovation that’s been invested in the infusion systems and it’s easy to see why the machines in the range will be positioned as premium products, fully reflecting the Made in Italy style. Once again, designer Marco Bonetto has paid homage to 50s motoring chic, by combining robust performance with stunning good looks. He’s created a range of machines full of power and grace that supports even the busiest baristas, continuing the “mechanical” passion, which is at the heart of the brand’s DNA.

“LA REALE” LEADS THE LAUNCH OF GAGGIA MILANO BY COMBINING STYLE AND INNOVATION

The task of writing a new exciting chapter of the legendary history of Gaggia Milano has been entrusted to la Reale. To celebrate the beginning of a new era, the first 100 of these top-of-the-range models to roll off the production line will comprise a numbered, strictly limited edition.

Gaggia Milano’s new flagship, la Reale embodies the ethos of the brand in the best possible way, combining tradition and innovation. The elegant design of la Reale is enhanced by strong lines, which incorporate reflections of copper and steel on its bodywork, complemented by the suffused light from LED profiles and subtle backlights.

Technologically, “la Reale” is the optimum solution, created for no other reason than to satisfy the most demanding of market segments. For instance, the Multiboiler thermal system unleashes maximum steam power to ensures flexibility in managing the temperature in the infusion units. It also has a dual interface: a 3,5-inch touchscreen at each group that facilitates the complete personalization of infusion parameters, combined with three buttons that deliver to the barista a speedy and intuitive selection process.

Following the triumphant return of the brand, in 2019 EVOCA will launch the Historical Gaggia Milano Club. The club will gather together Gaggia’s legion of fans by promoting activities and initiatives that celebrate coffee culture and the renaissance of Italian espresso.
